Program overview :

Digital tools, techniques, and media have expanded traditional concepts of knowledge in the arts, humanities, and social sciences. This has spurred an array of convergent practices that explore a universe in which print is no longer the primary medium in which knowledge is produced and disseminated. Collectively, these emerging research practices are coined the “Digital Humanities”.
Discover how computing technology, such as data analysis, text mining, and visualization, can be applied to expand research in the humanities and social sciences in this 12-day, 3-month, unique program in the region.
The program is structured as 4 days a month over three months. Each day consists of a morning theory session & an afternoon practical workshop where participants from various disciplines work on real-world cases with the help of experienced professors mastering digital tools and techniques, as well as communication in Arabic, French, & English.

Dr. Khalil Amiri

Dr. Khalil Amiri is co-founding Professor at MUST University. He was formerly CEO of KPI Associates, a research and consulting firm, Professor and Dean of the Mediterranean Institute of Technology, and lecturer at Imperial College London. Prior to that, he held various positions within the R&D laboratories of Hewlett-Packard, IBM New York, IBM Toronto, and Credit Suisse, London. Read more.

PhD candidate in her final year at SUP COM

Nesrine Zaghdoud received her PhD degree in Information Science and Communication at Sup’Com, Tunis, Tunisia. She also holds a Master in Information Science at the Higher Institute of Computer Science and Multimedia, Gabes, Tunisia, a Professional Master in Information Security at the National Institute of Computer Science Manouba, Tunisia (obtained with honors), and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Management at the Higher Institute of Management, Tunisia.
